Editorial decisions are made by our editorial team alone. Commercial relationships, where they exist, never influence which products are included, how they are scored or where they appear.

Research and sources

Reviews are based on hands-on testing under our published protocol, full ingredient lists, and — for health and regulatory topics — official UK sources such as the NHS, MHRA and legislation.gov.uk.

Health content

We write about cosmetic products, not treatments. Articles that touch on side effects or eye health direct readers to a pharmacist, optometrist, GP or NHS 111.

Updates and corrections

Each page shows the date it was last reviewed. If you spot an error, email us and we will review it within five working days and note material corrections on the page.
